TRAUMA REGISTRY

Overview
A Trauma Registry is a structured, prospective clinical database that continuously collects standardized information on trauma patients treated in hospitals or emergency systems. It is a population-based registry, useful for evaluating outcomes, improving care, and supporting decision-making.

Main objective
To develop a regional platform that allows measurement, comparison, and improvement of trauma outcomes through standardized and comparable data.

Institutional agreement
A formal agreement is required between the Panamerican Society of Trauma, Fundación Valle del Lili (technical coordinating center), and the participating institution.

Access to the registry
Access is provided in phases:

  • Training platform
  • Official registry platform

Data entry
Data entry is prospective, standardized, and monitored to ensure quality and consistency.
