It is hard to believe that we will be meeting in Mexico City in approximately two weeks. This has been an incredibly busy year for the Panamerican Trauma Society leadership and we look forward to sharing news of our progress with you. We are also grateful to Dr. Magana and our colleagues in Mexico City for hosting the meeting. This has been a difficult year in Mexico, particularly the area around Mexico City. The earthquake and financial insecurity have both been challenges. We are so proud and pleased that our Mexican colleagues have been able to climb over these obstacles and are still able to host the meeting. There may be a few glitches but we all expect this to be another outstanding meeting.
